The Team

We are UKROP.US—simply put, a group of friends, a handful of families, mostly Ukrainian expats, all practically neighbors in San Diego, CA. We have known each other anywhere from just a few months to 13 years. Until a short time ago, we were living typical family lives: taking care of our children and loved ones, working, spending time together on weekends and enjoying birthday and holiday parties.

Then, on February 24th, Russia invaded Ukraine—and our list of priorities changed. UKROP.US quickly organized a small non-profit with the main goal of helping Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces. Within a couple of days, we were able to collect sufficient donations to purchase and successfully ship to Ukraine our first batch of vitally-needed supplies, including those that are practically impossible to procure there right now: helmets, bulletproof vests, night-vision devices, etc.

Since the war began, we have been working hard to spread the truth about the Russian aggression and to continue to help Territorial Defense Forces in repelling—and, in the end, defeating—the invaders. Our third shipment of supplies left for Ukraine on March 27. We are extremely grateful to the many people who, in this short time, have donated, volunteered and otherwise assisted us in promoting the Ukrainian Cause and ultimately achieving our goal! 

 

But there is still a lot to be done.
